VLADIMIR MATIĆ-KURILJOV is a video game artist from Belgrade, Serbia. He has dabbled with many arts and crafts including illustration, animation, comics, caricature, making costumes, props and dolls, but painting and sculpting miniatures has been his most consistent hobby obsession for the past 20 years.

3D Sculpting for Collectibles

Professor Afrić will hold a lecture on the process and difficulties in the process of arriving at a collectible sculpture from two-dimensional concept art. Using a simple concept art sketch, a short demonstration will lead to a 3D sculpture while explaining the whole process.

WINTON AFRIĆ was born in 1980. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and received his doctorate in information sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. He is currently working at the University of Algebra. He has participated in a number of scientific congresses, signed numerous articles and is the co-author of two books in the field of informatics, theory and sociology of computer games.

 

 

Painting Faces and Eyes on 28mm miniatures
