CONTENT:
The workshop will be held over two days (a whole weekend) and participants will paint up to three different figures for the game Trench Crusade (of their choice). The focus of these lectures will be painting multiple miniatures at once in the recognizable GRIMDARK style, but the knowledge from the workshop is equally applicable to painting armies for board games and figure collections for pen&paper RPGs.
The workshop will present paints and equipment, figure preparation, several miniature painting techniques from basic to advanced, and techniques and tricks for quickly and efficiently painting larger quantities of figures at once. The workshop will use water-based acrylic paints and easy-to-use oil effects. The lectures will be adjusted so that the leaders will devote equal time to all participants and will be able to adapt to all categories of miniaturists (from beginners to slightly more advanced).
The workshop will take place in the following way: First, the lecturer sits at his desk and explains and demonstrates each step in painting a miniature/model on his specimen. His work is projected onto a screen via a camera and projector, which the participants listen to, watch, and ask questions about. Then, the participants sit at their desks and apply the knowledge they have acquired. The facilitators circulate among the participants and check how each participant is doing. In this way, they can adapt to each participant individually.

The workshop will include the following thematic units:
1. Planning and preparation and assembling miniatures
2. Processing miniatures before painting
3. Basic grimdark style and color selection
4. Basic colors
5. Shading and highlighting techniques
6. Taking the finished paintjob to a higher level, oil effects
7. Basing miniatures
