Agram Group Build Report 01/22
In this series of articles we will follow our Goran, Kruno, Dalibor, Domagoj i Marko while making dioramas and painting figures divided into several projects as a part of Agram Group Build Projects. The main idea is to let everyone make something on each project and the chief rule (apart that there are no rules) is not to tamper with another persons work. To let everyone partake and make several Frankenstein monsters…
MARKO: Fresh and rested after the Christmas and New Year holidays, we set off at full speed with work on new projects. # Project1 (New York / Gotham diorama) has so far been set aside in the mold preparation phase for wall casting. # Projekt2 is currently only in the preparation and planning phase, and it is a dieselpunk island that flies. The figures for #Project3 arrived from Danielle Found Miniatures, and these are 4 connected busts on the theme of the three musketeers. Each of the main actors is portrayed by a different breed of dog. Honestly, the design of the figures screwed us up a bit. When we ordered them, we were convinced that it was 4 figures (each figure separately) so that everyone interested would get one dog to paint. This way, we will all have to paint one work so we decided to paint at home, someone else every week provided we return to the next Hobby Corner on Wednesdays and hand them over to another team member. We only agreed in advance that we would use Scale 75 blue for the cloaks of the three musketeers (not d’Artagnan) to keep all the figures at least a little unified. After assembling the figures, we realized that the whole work has a lot of protruding parts (like a glove with a hat and a sword), so we decided to temporarily glue the figures to the balsa base so that parts of the figure would not break off during transfer.
KRUNO: I had the honor of being the first to take the figure home to fill in the gaps between the parts of the figure that do not fit very well..
GORAN: In parallel with our tampering with the dogs, the guys from Domagoj's Slow Grow League did one 40k game - Tau vs. DA.
After the discussion on # project3, we started discussions on # project4, which will consist of making the terrain and figures for GW's 1998 game Full Tilt.
We agreed on what the terrain would look like, gave Marko the task of looking for a suitable figures and made something that might be called a sketch.
Feel free to contact us here if you are interested! We are every Wednesday from 6 pm to 10 pm in KD ZZTK on Trg žrtava fašizma 14.
