Winter village 2
As part of our Advent program in Agram, in the first workshop of 2022, we created a winter scene that was described in a separate article last year . For this year, we are also planning to create a similar scene during Advent in Agram in 2023.
The first step is to cut out the shape of the base as well as the hole for the battery case since this scene has street lights that will work. After that, we laid two pieces of street lighting and three pine trees. Then we drilled holes for the lighting wires.
Then we drew the shapes of the houses on 5 mm balsa according to the plan and cut it out. Then we covered the parts of the building with the facade in PVA glue and sprinkled the finest sand.
Then we painted the houses in basic colors and highlighted the parts using the drybrush method. Finally, we added stars to the windows.
We placed the houses on the base and attached the pine trees. Then we modeled a snowman, the making of which you can follow here.
The snow volume was added - using DAS clay mortar, which was painted white when it dried (24h). Finally, a sprinkle of snow from Ammo by Mig Jimenez was applied following their method.
Next came the connection of the lighting to the battery case. We used a soldering iron for that.
Then the holes for the magnets were drilled, and the entire base was painted black. The last job was painting a snowman.
And that ends the build.
