Painting Necron Army for 40k Demos
In order to improve the demonstrations of the tabletop strategy game 40k at events, we decided to make two small armies and paint them strikingly, but also in a relatively accessible way for all beginners.
We assembled the figures and sprayed them in black and then in silver spray. Then we repainted the whole figures with Nuln Oil Wash and selectively in some places with Reikland Fleshshade.
The red effect was obtained by repainting Clear Red Tamiya paint over a gold base. The lighting elements were obtained by repainting Hexwraith Flame Citadel Technical paint.
We then based the figures. First, we painted the bases with textured Citadel paint Martian Ironearth. When it dried, we applied red and orange pigments. Finally, vegetation was added.
And thus we finish the Necron army.
