Painting Space Marine Army for 40k Demos
In order to improve the demonstrations of the tabletop strategy game 40k at events, we decided to make two small armies and paint them strikingly, but also in a relatively accessible way for all beginners.
We assembled the figures and sprayed them in black and then in white spray.
Then we repainted with Citadel Contrast Imperial Fist yellow. Then we drew out the red details and everything else in black.
The next part was the metal details, which we painted silver with several coats of Nuln Oil wash.
We covered the yellow armor with Fuegan Orange Wash and did the yellow highlights.
This was followed by extracting the details - painting the face, extracting skin areas, adding eyes, etc.
Towards the end we added red and orange pigments to the engines. We used the same shades as on the bases.
Finally, we added vegetation to the bases as described in the previous article. And so the Space Marine army was completed.
